Call To Action! Protect the Ban on Porn in Schools, HB 900

August 30, 2023 | Austin, TX

HB 900 was a hard-fought victory in the Texas Legislature, with all of the forces of woke ideology working to oppose us. If there is anyone out there who doesn’t believe that our schools had pornographic materials in their libraries, let us know. We can provide examples that will shock you.

But, as they say, the devil is in the details and tomorrow, the State Board of Education (SBOE) is meeting to discuss those details. This report from Jennifer Eckhart, Executive Director of Montgomery County Citizens Defending Freedom (CDF), gives more information.

It is short notice, but that is often the case when fighting the good fight.

“This Thursday, August 31, the State Board of Education is meeting to discuss the process of HB 900. This is the Bill that requires ratings on the books in the school libraries, so that parents can be aware of what material might be in them that is not suitable for their child. If you are able to come to Austin and support action taken to be as the Bill intended, and not watered down, please come!”

See Meeting Details on the SBOE website here.
