Precinct Chair Duties and Qualifications
The Precinct Chair is a vital position within the Republican Party because they have a direct connection with the voters within their precinct! As a bottom-up organization, a Precinct Chair is the voice for the grassroots to the county party. A Precinct Chair’s performance has a profound effect on the overall strength, influence and success of the county party.

Precinct Chair Application
Please read the following 2024-2026 Vacancy Policies before filling out the Precinct Chair application:
Applications must be submitted no later than Sunday night (by midnight) prior to the upcoming Vacancy Committee meeting to be considered for an interview at that meeting.
Vacancies will be posted on the website when known.
Vacancy meetings will be posted on the party calendar and are generally the week before the County Executive Committee (CEC) meeting.
These policies will be posted on the Precinct Chair Vacancies page under the Our Team tab on MCTXGOP.org.
Precinct Chair Resignation
If you are a current Precinct Chair and need to resign your position, please click below to fill out the resignation form. Your resignation will be officially submitted to the Party Secretary. The Secretary will notify the County Chair and the Vacancy Chair.
