What’s on the Ballot?

Important local elections will take place on May 3rd across Texas. Specific ballot items will vary depending on the jurisdiction within Montgomery County.

All Montgomery County residents will vote on $480 million in road bonds, and some will vote on school building bonds, school board trustees, city council positions, city charter amendments, MUD bonds and directors, and even the establishment of a MUD. These are typically low-turnout elections, amplifying the importance of your vote.

Montgomery County Eagle Forum will be providing a short presentation on the road bonds at their April 3rd meeting.

You can see the exact races in which you will be voting by accessing your personal sample ballot.

Check Your Voter Registration Status

Make sure you're registered to vote at your current address!

Registration forms are available at local libraries, Montgomery County Republican Party Headquarters, and at the county elections office.

You can check your current registration status here.

Please do NOT rely on registering through the DPS office when you change the address on your driver's license as it may not be updated in time to vote.

The voter registration deadline is April 3rd.
