The Montgomery County Republican Party is tracking the following bills to help secure Texas elections in the 89th Legislative Session. Scroll down for opportunities to take action.

 

HB 952

HB 952 (Toth) - The Jennie Stephenson Voter Integrity Act: Relating to identification of early voting ballots voted by mail by electronic code. SUPPORT!

This bill enhances the security and authenticity of mail-in ballots through a unique bar-coding system.

 

HB 677

HB 677 (DeAyala) - Relating to the restrictions on political activities of a county elections administrator. SUPPORT!

This bill ensures election administrators remain neutral in their job by prohibiting holding office in a political party.

 

Take Action - Testify in Person

Both bills will be heard in the House Elections Committee in Room C240 on Thursday, March 13. Committee meeting begins at 10:30 am.
