May 18, 2023 | Montgomery County, TX
Update: The Texas House will be honoring Kathy’s life this Thursday, May 25, during the late morning session (approximately 11 am). Come if you can and spread the word! Please wear pink or bright colors to honor her legacy of strength, loyalty, and love.
Precinct 67 Chair and conservative warrior, Kathryn Ross, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15. Kathy was a strong, principled, fearless woman who selflessly gave her time and treasure standing up for conservative causes.
Kathy became Precinct 67 Chair (The Woodlands) in 2018, and was much loved by everyone who had the privilege of working with her. During election season, she was a dependable sight in the parking lots around Montgomery County, while also supporting statewide candidates and causes. She was a smart, fierce person who made a point to support and encourage others and was never afraid to speak the truth.
Kathy was a founding member of the Montgomery County Freedom Caucus, a former Chaplain of the Woodlands Republican Women’s Club, an instrumental member of the Montgomery County Pachyderm Club, an owner of multiple businesses, and a member of Grace Church Woodlands. Kathy also showed her love for the least among us with her foster residential care home, The Wee Care Girls.
Her favorite color, pink, accurately symbolizes the love of Christ and compassion she embodied. Kathy leaves behind an inspiring legacy of strength, loyalty, and love, and her encouraging presence will be deeply missed in Montgomery County by the Republican Party County Executive Committee and by all who knew and encountered her.
Services will be held on Monday, May 22, at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX. Visitation begins at 9 am and the service begins at 10 am. Kathy requested that those attending wear pink or bright colors to celebrate her life.
